@WalaaHamdan126 21700 is the battery size that the Tria uses. "Tabless" is a new feature that makes them able to provide even more power, so "tabless 21700" are the best batteries possible for this.

The two cells are taped together into one longer cylinder. You should be able to safely separate them by peeling off the tape that's only in the middle section and separating the spot weld.

I was looking at Sonders in LA and the SF Bay Area. Most seem to have the same few complaints (not many common areas, meh support in the app) and the same advantages (a really good kitchen, convenient in-room laundry, quiet and chill). So check the reviews of your desired location and see if there are complaints about other stuff like the beds or neighborhood.

Yes, I've done that before. It's a locking collar. I recall it being a bit complicated, so removing the base the boot might be easier. I think I can just be unclipped but it's been a while.

@@faeinthebay thank you, but I run into issues removing the shift knob from the boot even after removing the boot with the shift knob still attached to it.

@@hialeah08ify ah, That's right. It's rather complicated and I scuffed the plastic while trying to do it. I think there is a screw hidden in the center. I recall prying off some of the silver plastic.

I wouldn't recommend that. You'd be missing security patches and feature updates. Google might just block old versions entirely because they have unexpected behavior or use deprecated APIs.

@@faeinthebay thank you for the reply. Would that be an issue if it was a completely wired network? My goal is to setup my whole home with no wireless. So I came across Google ecosystem items that may work. Starting with the home max speakers. The hub would be ideal to cast from though. Of course I could always cast from a wired phone if needed.

@@sdr5757 The Nest speaker/display doesn't care if it's using Wi-Fi or a wired connection. It will react the same to both, including attempting to update itself and possibly not connecting to Google services. Perhaps you can block a specific domain from your network and prevent updates and it could keep working fine for a while, but you'll be in uncharted waters.

I just grabbed a random SMD capacitor from a scrap PCB, so I can't give a value. I guess it's possible to add a bigger capacitor to the USB power supply instead of the Bluetooth dongle.

I doubt you can get a spare. You could always try to fix it by removing the cover and using a thermal camera to see what's overheating.

@faeinthebay Yeah I opened it up & there was a burn mark by the back,So I did a lil more investigating & the tda7388 amplifier circuit the 9th pin is fired,,I think the guy who sold it to me hooked something up wrong,,Cause when I took it out that pin just slid right out of the amplifier circuit,,,I'm gonna order a new one & see what happens,,,1 more thing I hear from alot of people that the tda7388 amplifier circuit gets really hot in different brands of radios Cause when I had mines on it was pretty hot too.

It should be pretty easy to solder since it's only a four pin USB. Just get a female USB port with partial cable, or if you can't get that, just cut a USB 2.0 A extender in half. Cut the stereo's cable above the damaged point, strip a bit of the four wires on each end, put heat shrink tubing over each, twist the wires together, then solder and heat gun.

Didn't work when I tried this. I don't think any USB stuff works any more because of the switch to Fuscia.

Mine didn't have enough discharge capacity. High discharge 26650 batteries should work.

The control box has Bluetooth, so it's better to put it in the passenger compartment. Routing the wires around the firewall and by the doors is too difficult (they're thick and it's not the intended path). So I did it the "right" way by putting them through the dedicated hole.

Yes, cut in the middle of the copper bars so half of each bar is on each side (in case you need to solder it back together).

The batteries are generic 18650s. I bought some cheap replacements but the Tria didn't like to boot from them.
